Prysmian offers a variety of tooling technologies to cover almost any cable
preparation or crimping need. Our preparation range includes tools to strip and score cable
insulation and screens. Whilst the compression tooling range consists of non-ratchet plier type
tools, ratchet type tools, hydraulic handtools, hydraulic footpumps & heads, electric pumps
& heads and battery operated hydraulic crimping tools. Prysmian's compression tooling range is
designed to produce joints that meet tensile, resistance and heat cycling requirements. As with all
compression systems, the safety and quality of any connection is dependent on the use of the
correct installation tooling with the appropriate connectors/terminals.
