INFORMATION ON DATA PROCESSING
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 13 OF LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO. 196/2003


Prysmian S.p.A. (hereafter, "Prysmian" or "Company"), acting in its capacity as Data Controller, informs you that the personal data (hereafter, "Data") you will provide by sending your Curriculum Vitae may be subject to Processing in compliance with the rules and regulations specified above and pursuant to Article 4, paragraph 1, letter a) of Legislative Decree no. 196 dated June 30, 2003, Personal data protection code (hereafter, "Code").
The Data Processing shall be carried out by using or avoiding using electronic means. In any case, the Data Processing shall be carried out by using means capable of ensuring security and avoiding any unauthorised access to the Data and, in any case, with modalities strictly instrumental to the realization of the purposes specified in this information.
The Data regarding you, which you have voluntarily provided, shall be used by the Company exclusively in order to select and recruit personnel. The Data shall not be disclosed to the public and may be communicated exclusively for the purposes specified above, to the following parties:
  • companies belonging to the same Corporate Group to which our Company also belongs, including those situated abroad, in EU and non-EU countries;
  • companies and/or external consultants (by way of example, recruitment agencies) with which Prysmian cooperates for the performance of activities involving the examination of applications, in order to assess the possible interest in your profile by Prysmian and the other companies of the group; and
  • individuals, companies or firms which provide services and assistance and consultancy to our Company, in relation, among other things, to the management of computer systems.
The parties included in the categories identified above shall use the Data as independent data controllers and in full autonomy, due to their being unrelated to the original processing car-ried out at our Company. Alternatively, they shall use the Data as external data processors after having been specifically appointed by our Company. The complete list of the parties to which the data may be disclosed is available at the Company’s premises.
    If required for the purposes specified above, the Data regarding you shall also be disclosed to those employees operating within the Personnel and Organization Department, who shall process them as Persons in charge of the processing or Internal Data Processor.
    Should be selection process result in a rejection of the application, your data shall be deleted from the Company’s databases 2 years after collection.
    It is entirely up to you whether to provide or not your personal data; however, your refusal to disclose the Data shall prevent the Company from taking your application into account.
Finally, we remind you that you may exercise your rights under Article 7 of the Code at any time. Therefore, by way of mere example, without limitation, you shall be entitled to obtain a confirmation of the existence or inexistence of data regarding you, examine their content, ask to update, correct or supplement them and, should the legal prerequisites be satisfied, ask for their erasure and blocking.
You shall be entitled to exercise such rights by way of a written request to be sent to Prysmian S.p.A. (Personnel and Organization Department), with offices in Milan, Viale Sarca 222, specifying the following reference on the envelope "Legislative Decree no. 196/2003", or by email to the following email address address privacy.hr.hq@prysmian.com

By accepting and sending your Curriculum Vitae, you declare that you have read the above information and that you consent to the processing of your data for the purposes and subject to the procedures specified above.
Finally, we remind you that, based on legal obligations, sensitive data cannot be collected by the Internet (sensitive data include, for example, data suitable to reveal racial and ethnic origin, religious and philosophic beliefs, political orientation, political party or trade union membership, or membership regarding religious, philosophic, political or trade union associations and organizations, or data suitable to reveal one’s state of health and sexual life). The processing of such data in facts requires your written consent. We therefore kindly ask you to REFRAIN from inserting any sensitive data in your CV; should you fail to do so, we will be prevented from taking your CV into consideration and will be forced to destroy.
